crime novel with a wonderful Irish Traveller character at its centre, full of
insight and sardonic humour. Killian has been thwarted in his attempts to go
straight by the demise of the Celtic Tiger and has returned to his previous
living as an enforcer. Tasked with finding a man’s drug-addicted ex-wife, he
soon realises that her disappearance is about a lot more than denying access.
He takes her to hide among the Travellers.
